I am absolutely insane, for I am planning my own twisted, convoluted version of the madness that is NaNoWriMo.

Nat's Novel Revision Month, in which...eh. I'll copy and paste from my post on the NTWF.

Being the lamesauce, procrastinating, idealess and easily-demotivated author that I am, NaNoWriMo is an impossible feat that would probably ruin my grades for the month. So instead, I'm doing my own skewered version of it: NaNoReMo. Taking one of my older stories--it dates back to the fifth grade--and giving it a complete overhaul. This shall consist of essay-writing...

...Sorta. If I were to really do essays, I'd drive myself up a wall. It's more of a series of analyses on characters, plots, writing. That fluff. Much of it involves picking apart my writing, the various versions of a story that I have, for some peculiar reason, held dear to be. ._. ...No. Phrasing failure. But it consists of some of my most precious characters, those that I have been developing constantly. And I'm planning on tossing them out of the story. XD And throwing in new characters.

So, throughout November--though I plan to continue this for as long as need be--I'm going to change the story, edit the story, as much as I can. Give it an enormous overhaul. X3 I sure can't write fifty thousand words, but I think it would suffice to give what I thought would be my "HOMG ULTIMATE NOVEL" a revamp and make it at least remotely decent. At least readable.

It will be an odd month. XD Thus begins NaNoReMo!

(...Since I failed to mention it, the story was called "The Flute of Fire". Yes, the title sums up how cliche and bad it is. >.< Even though my writing is most certainly amateur, it's at least better than how it used to be. Perhaps this will help me grow into a more skilled author? That would be helpful.)
